Above the clouds

Description

The picture was captured by Anis from the Mardi viewpoint during a trek with four companions. The Mardi Himal Trek leads you through Nepal’s Annapurna region, reaching the highest point at 4200m, known as the Upper View Point. Normally, it’s a 5-day trek starting from Kathmandu, Nepal. We travel by bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and the trek begins from there. Our trek was enjoyable, involving 9 to 10 hours of walking each day.

We decide against staying at the viewpoint because there are no hotels or houses in the cold vicinity. Our morning routine involves waking up around 4 pm, and we commence our walk to the viewpoint by 4:30.
