Golden Tortoise Beetle

Description

The official named of the Golden Tortoise Beatle, also known as Aspidimorpha sanctaecrucis, is found in much of Southeast Asia. This one was found by the side of a small road outside a village in Pangkah, Tegal, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. The insect is completely round and semi-transparent.
