Walking To Work With Sheep

The picture was taken on a winter morning of 2023 in Uttara Sector 17, Dhaka. This is my everyday go-to road from home to the office. My home is away from the city area and I’ve got to reach this bridge, cross it and then take another vehicle to reach the office.

I was pregnant with my baby girl, Aurora, at the time I took this photo, and I was becoming irritated and depressed about having to travel down this road every day. Then one day, I noticed that not only people, but also sheep, were using the bridge to cross to the other side. It simply lifts my spirits and reminds me that this bridge is not only necessary for my daily commute but also for animals. That was a good start to my day, so I captured it to remember.
