Skagen is a tiny town at the very northern tip of Denmark, where the North and Baltic seas meet. This kind of seal is called a howler, after the German “Heuler”. Stefan “Paschi” Pasch was there on vacation. There weren’t many seals on the beach, this was a young one left while its mother hunted food. Paschi had a very long lense for his camera, so he didn’t need to get close to the pup.
This is Quica! She is a Sphynx cat owned by Marco and Paula from Lisbon. Legend has it she feels like a warm peach. This picture was taken by Carole Olinger at Marco and Paula’s house.
