India’s Winter Wonderland

This photo is from the north of India, in Kashmir. It’s an extremely popular place for people to ski, sled, and many other snow sports. Kartik Shukla traveled more than 1700 kilometers to visit here. Travelers stay in a “hotel” which is basically huts, and they often enjoy a giant bonfire in the evening.

On the shores of Lake Geneva, in the town of Vevey, you’ll find the “Alimentarium”, a museum devoted to food and eating. Just offshore you’ll find this giant fork stuck into the lake. Michelle Bulloch from Switzerland took this photo while visiting.
